It started as your typical love story but the story was really original and refreshing. Other than that it was one of the books that took me a very long time to read it. I just can't get into it also there was writing mistakes. That's the problem of self publishing. Proofreading was needed and I don't want to ruin it for any body but it seemed kind of missing at the end it just ended with almost no consequences like it was misssing a chapter or five.. The story just started so at the first 30 pages I had a hard time recognizing the characters there was no background info actually no info at all about the characters wich made it hard to understand after all a book needs to touch our imagination.

Shay was born in Scotland under a full moon amongst the misty moors. Her
homeland calls to her still, but now she basks in the Seattle rains and visits
the Isle only in her dreams.
She took
creative writing in college for two years and has been writing for the last
five years. She keeps a diary with her sad and romantic poems for when she's in
the mood: usually it's after watching The English Patient--her favorite
all-time movie.
