Mr. Merrick and I face each other. I rock back and forth on my feet nervously.
“Well, I guess this is good-bye.” I stick out my hand for him to shake.
Mr. Merrick slips his hand into mine, but instead of shaking it, he uses his hold as leverage to pull me into him.
“I’m really looking forward to tomorrow evening, Miss Peters,” he says, his lips hovering dangerously close to mine. “After all, I believe I owe you a proper kiss.”
My jaw drops. If what we shared earlier isn’t a real kiss in his book, I can’t imagine what one actually entails.
I feel one hundred pairs of eyes on us from every direction.
“Uh, thank you for, uh, coming, Mr. Merrick,” I say, trying to remain calm, as though he and I are having nothing more than an innocent conversation.
Mr. Merrick drops my hand, but doesn’t move away. As if I’m not turned on enough, he leans in and brushes his lips to my ear. “Welcome to my world, Miss Peters. You’ll soon discover that I live up to my many reputations in every way.”

Haul: My Little Gratis Haul

My little Gratis haul
I love shopping like most of the girls. I even drag my boyfriend to cosmetic stores. Last time we went out together I dragged him to Gratis and bought some needed and unneeded but eye catcing things.

I Love Stage Eyeshadow Primer
First of all this is my first time trying eye shadow primers and I wanted something cheap to start with so I bought an Essence I <3 eyeshadow="" p="" primer.="" stage="">
Flormar M05 Nail Polish

I was also on the search for a matte blue nail polish so here it is my review on this one is on the way.

And now let's take a look at whimsical unnecessary things I bought.
Sweet Vale Blue Owl Lipgloss
This cute owl was looking at me from the side of the counter so I couldn't resist it and bought it. It's solid lip gloss in a deep compartment which makes it impossible to use it without getting underneath your nails which is awful. It's also sticky. So it will stand for a very long time I guess.

Essence Floral Grunge mini lipgloss set

And a very cute Essence lip gloss set from the Floral Grunge Series they are cute and little my review is also on the way. But just a hint it won't be a good one. ;)

Nail Art: Chevron Easter

Chevron Easter

Because of my internship I realized that I haven't been able to write for a while. So here I am. These last weeks were super fast and tiring because I'm not used to waking up before 7 a.m. and it sucks. Actually these pictures are really from Easter 2012 so I named it Chevron Easter. Even though we don't celebrate easter I made it with eggs and spring in my mind. I may consider doing a turtorial next time it was super easy though. If you consider that I suck at nail art. :)

For the colours I used Golden Rose Fantastic 210 (Pastel Green), Essence colour & go 27 No More Drama (Lilac) and Alix Avien Shineplus 100 (Dark Green). Actually I really liked this mani. I couldn't take myself from looking at it. :)
Have you ever done a Chevron nail art?
Did you do it free handed?
